The trip

DAY 1 : ARRIVAL AT GARDA LAKE

Arrival at the hotel in the southern part of Lake Garda and check-in, welcome drink, dinner and overnight stay.

DAY 2 : PESCHIERA DEL GARDA – SIRMIONE

Breakfast at the hotel and transfer to Peschiera del Garda, guided tour: walk along the Venetian walls, fortified complex, Porta Verona, built to a design by Michele Sanmicheli in 1553-54; Ex Artillery Barracks, Porta Brescia, Piazza d'Armi, Parish Church of San Martino, built according to tradition on the ruins of a previous pagan temple, the canal, the open lake and the Mincio River, crossed by the railway bridge. 

Lunch in a typical farm house near Sirmione.

In the afternoon boat trip around the peninsula, you could admire the thermal baths, the Mediterranean vegetation, the remains of the Roman villa, the sulfureous spring bubbles that rise, such as a geyser, and, obviously, the fortress can be seen entirely in the middle of the water.

Transfer to the hotel, dinner and overnight stay.

DAY 3 : TOUR OF THE DOLOMITES

Breakfast and departure to the north of Lake Garda, then along the spectacular and imposing Dolomites road. Discover these dizzying mountains in all their splendour: the Costalunga Pass, with the magnificent Lake Carezza nearby. All shades of green follow one another between those of the forest and the colour of the lake.

Lunch in Canazei.

In the afternoon, you will cross two passes over 2,200 metres high: the Pordoi Pass - the highest in the massif, in an impressive and rugged environment surrounded by rock faces - and the Sella Pass with its magnificent panorama.

Return via Val Gardena, a region famous for its sports facilities, wild landscapes and villages with architecture and crafts linked to woodworking.

Return to the hotel, dinner and overnight stay.

DAY 4 : DEPARTURE
